Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional to support centralized budget planning and financial operations. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights into financial performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen budget oversight across the organization. Responsibilities Reconcile personnel cost data across human capital systems and financial management platforms to ensure alignment with approved funding Review and process funding-related workflow items, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals Generate reports and dashboards from financial, HR, and legacy systems to support data-driven decision-making Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual budget planning cycles and periodic budget reviews Maintain and enhance short- and long-term financial forecasting tools Analyze budget performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization Provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes Support distribution and tracking of finalized budgets across departments Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret financial results and develop performance metrics Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 4–8 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related discipline Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus Solid understanding of budgeting processes and accounting principles Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Experience interacting with senior leadership and presenting financial insights clearly Benefits: The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
