Maintenance Tech

Job Full Description

• Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices
• Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose and edit Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various machine control circuits , including the replacement of faulty electrical components
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various machine and maintenance problems, including pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, etc., using technology.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, and shop orders
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machines with rotating components
• Operate drill press, grinder, welding, and other maintenance equipment to fabricate or repair parts


• Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic powered equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance functions per schedule
• Ability to maintain computer-based machine repair and PM records system
• All other duties as assigned by the manager.


• 5 years of maintenance in a manufacturing setting
• Minimum two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance Technician or equivalent work experience and training
• Sound understanding of rotating equipment
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with all levels of employees is required
• Must possess basic computer skills and various software systems (Microsoft Office) for logging and tracking results
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
