Water Resources Engineer

Water Resources Engineer – Cherry Hill, NJ (4–15 Years Experience)
Well-established engineering consulting firm in the Cherry Hill, NJ area is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level to senior engineer looking to work on impactful stormwater, drainage, and watershed projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of stormwater management systems, drainage, and erosion & sediment control
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.)
- Prepare reports, permitting documents, and construction plans
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage projects and mentor junior staff (for more experienced candidates)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 4–15 years of relevant water resources / stormwater experience
- EIT required; PE preferred (or on track)
- Strong experience with modeling software and design standards
- Knowledge of NJDEP regulations a plus
