Occupational Therapist (OTR) - Per Diem

As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) at Aspire Senior Living Webb City, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our residents in a variety of settings. As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) with Aspire Senior Living Webb City, you will:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and independence

• Provide therapy services in various settings, including resident rooms, therapy rooms, and outdoor spaces

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care planning

• Educate and train caregiving staff on therapeutic techniques and strategies

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with their individualized treatment plans

• Develop and implement effective therapy programs to improve residents' physical and cognitive abilities

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify residents' strengths, weaknesses, and goals

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) certification in the state of Missouri

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

• Ability to provide services in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and rehabilitative settings

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
