Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field required.
• Board eligible by NCA or ASCP required.
• One to three years of related or progressively more responsible experience in microbiology required.
• Experience with clinical laboratory instrumentation required.
• Laboratory generalist experience required.
• Must be capable of working independently and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants.

Assignment Details

• Variable 8-hour shifts.
• Shifts may include days, evenings, or nights.
