Located in beautiful Redondo Beach, CA, we pride ourselves on serving fresh, wholesome, and flavorful vegetarian cuisine to our community. What You'll Be DoingAs a Cook / Prep Cook, your role will be essential in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards. - Assisting in food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients. - Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to meet health and safety standards. - Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate food service. - Monitoring food inventory and notifying the team of any shortages or needs. - Adhering to all kitchen safety protocols and procedures.
What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should bring: - At least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen or similar food preparation role. - Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. - A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires physical stamina and comfort working in a busy kitchen environment. You must be able to: - Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shift. - Work comfortably in a fast-paced kitchen with heat and frequent movement.
