Position Primary Purpose The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs HVAC systems. Work may include servicing, troubleshooting and repairing heating and cooling equipment utilized in commercial buildings (i.e., boilers, chillers, split systems, package units, VRF, VAV, and exhaust systems, controls). Field helpers will assist mechanics, supporting systems used for heating, air conditioning, or other purposes. Essential Functions Assist with diagnosis and repair of products and equipment related to HVAC commercial systems and ensuring customer satisfaction Assist with performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files utilizing company software on tablet Keeps all current manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair Provides technical support to customers Troubleshoot HVAC issues and identify solutions Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment to complete tasks Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and other technical documents Other duties as assigned. Requirements This position is classified Full-Time(non-exempt) with some overtime expected.
