Account Manager (Middle Market - West Coast)

Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Account Manager to support our Account Directors in managing large (300+ employees) and complex client relationships. This role is pivotal in executing strategic initiatives, fostering strong client and broker relationships, and driving year‑over‑year retention and growth. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Account Directors to implement client strategies and ensure successful outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to support retention and growth. Provide expert administrative support and guidance to client constituents. Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to inform client decisions. Monitor market trends and identify competitive opportunities. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records. Participate in and/or lead client meetings as appropriate. Partner with internal teams (underwriting, sales, operations, analytics, etc.) to ensure client needs are met. Required Qualifications 4‑6 years of industry experience. Strong understanding of the health plan market (Group Health Insurance). Strong knowledge of Excel functionality for reporting and data analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and PowerPoint. Exceptional communication skills. 20% travel required. Preferred Qualifications Self‑funded health plan experience. Experience working with public entities. Health & Life Insurance License. Bilingual (Spanish). Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience). Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 hours. Time Type Full time. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $46,988.00 - $112,200.00.
