Schedule: Day Shift 8-5 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Graduate of a professional course of education accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed to practice in the state.
• Amiable personality with sound judgment and an empathetic attitude towards patients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Organizes and conducts medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs.
• Guides individuals in improving quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part.
• Considers patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs in therapy plans.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.
• Educates patients and families about therapy goals and practices.

Compliance / Notes:

• Will not take an in-state traveler, unless they exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility.
• Outpatient hands with the option to float to acute settings; modality endorsement per state guidelines is required.
