Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct occupation-based therapy programs to help patients improve daily living activities, mobility, and independence after injury or illness.
- Deliver OT services in the acute care setting, incorporating outpatient hands-float to acute care as needed, and applying modality endorsements per MT guidelines.
- Conduct initial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to meet patient goals and safety considerations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, contribute to discharge planning, and educate patients and caregivers on ongoing home programs.
- Consider patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs in all evaluations and interventions.
- Document clinical findings, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Requirements
- Montana licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist (active license)
- Graduate of a professional OT program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- Modality endorsement per MT Guidelines requirement
- Experience in acute care settings; outpatient hands-float to acute care setting experience is preferred
- Ability to work Day Shift 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and provide patient-centered OT services
- Travel eligibility with the geographic policy: in-state travelers will be considered only if located more than 250 miles from Havre, MT
