Lab Associate

About the role We are seeking an entry‑level Industrial/Waste Lab Assistant who is detail‑oriented and proactive. The Assistant will support laboratory operations, conduct analyses and testing of industrial waste materials, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient lab environment. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze samples in accordance with established protocols and procedures. Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting, disposal, and glassware cleaning to meet analytical cleanliness standards. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas during the workday. Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan. Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing. Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned by Reworld management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous industrial waste laboratory experience desirable but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the waste industry preferred. Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software. Shift & Physical Requirements Monday through Friday, rotating Sundays; 6:00am–11:00am start time. Be able to climb stairs. Stand and work on feet for the majority of the shift (minimal breaks). Lift up to 50lb. Some labs may require work outside and sample collection from tank trailers, including ladder climbing. What Reworld Offers You Health Care benefits starting first day of employment. Pay Transparency: Reworld offers a competitive salary range of $39,200.00 – $52,100.00USD based on primary location.
