RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Invasive Cardiology - Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift - 10-hour shifts between the hours of 06:00 AM and 04:30 PM. Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for.

The Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse will work in a specialized unit dedicated to cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology activities. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment while performing advanced cardiovascular procedures. Experience in EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in various cardiac procedures, including complex coronary interventions and electrophysiological studies.
• Administer medications and monitor patients during procedural sedation.
• Monitor vital signs and provide immediate care during and after procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in invasive cardiology.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system is preferred.
