Our goal is to offer each and every person around the world the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity, and responsibility to satisfy all beauty needs and desires in their infinite diversity.   At L'Oréal Consumer Products, our mission is to democratize the best of beauty, and for us, beauty has to be sustainable. Our division holds the world’s #1 beauty brand with L’Oréal Paris, the #1 makeup brand with Maybelline New York, the #1 natural brand with Garnier, as well as NYX Professional Makeup. What You Will Do:Effectively manage and implement engineering projects as assigned.  Projects will include new product launches, technology advancements, design improvements, equipment modifications, upgrades, or replacements, and continuous improvement projects. What We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a scientific field of study or equivalent work experience.Minimum of seven (7) years working in Advanced Manufacturing, Equipment Design, Robotics, and applied engineering or automation.Must be knowledgeable of facilities and equipment design and be able to plan and support all details related to the execution phase of projects, including mechanical and electrical installation, and permits for construction.Engineering, Facilities Management, Automation, or other manufacturing environment requiring a strong technical background. Demonstrated successful project management and delivery of capital projects for manufacturing equipment.Demonstrated safety culture and value.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a Lean/Six Sigma environment is a plus.Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 is a plus. Strong AutoCAD experience is a plus.Experience working in Flammable Liquid or Combustible Dust environments is a plus.Judgment and Decision Making:This position requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to navigate the international elements of projects for a global company, including international travel. Decisions made in this position will directly affect the success of new product launches and have an attributable impact on the Manufacturing Plant’s P&L statement.Essential Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand for extended periods on a concrete surface; may require working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse; May require work outdoors; Must be able to bend, kneel, and be flexible enough to inspect equipment sensors located in unusual positions on equipment.Financial Scope: Candidate should be confident applying cost-effective manufacturing concepts, methods, processes, and procedures.
