This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care/Skilled Nursing assignment. The ideal candidate will have a background in acute care and skilled nursing, providing high-quality therapy for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and adapt techniques as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans and provide discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AK OT License.
- BLS Certification.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
