Anesthesiology Physician

A locum tenens position is available at a healthcare facility in Chambersburg, PA, focusing on Electrophysiology within a dynamic team of specialists. This opportunity involves both outpatient and inpatient care, without the necessity for on-call duties. The assignment welcomes physicians with board certification or eligibility and offers flexible scheduling to provide coverage up to 40 hours a week, primarily during specific periods.

• Start Date: October 26-30; December 28-31 (as needed for vacation coverage)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no call required
• Patient Population: Adult (Ages 18-100)
• Location: Chambersburg, PA

• Provide expert Electrophysiology services including pacemaker and ICD implantations, loop recorder procedures, and various ablation techniques.
• Collaborate with a dedicated outpatient clinical team and an in-patient Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Manage a patient load of 16 outpatient and 10-15 inpatient per day.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA registration
• Certifications in ACLS/BLS required

• Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Up to 40 hours per week, once per month or as needed

• Proficiency in cardiology and electrophysiology
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team
