Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with employer match Continuing education support and CPA exam/license reimbursement A collegial, team-oriented culture with a genuine long-term view on staff development Real opportunity for advancement within a firm that values continuity and internal growth Job Details Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Support tax planning and consulting engagements, including entity structuring, succession planning, family partnerships, and asset protection strategies Conduct technical tax research and provide well-supported recommendations to clients and engagement teams Manage multiple client relationships and engagements simultaneously, often serving as a trusted advisor rather than just a preparer Review work of staff associates and interns, providing mentorship and technical guidance Assist with due diligence, forecasts/projections, and other advisory work tied to business development and M&A Respond to IRS and state tax notices and assist with audit support as needed Stay current on tax law changes and proactively communicate relevant updates to clients and the team Contribute to business development efforts and help strengthen long-term client relationships Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's in Taxation a plus CPA license required or actively pursuing certification 3-5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting with exposure to closely-held businesses and/or high-net-worth individuals Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax regulations Comfortable working directly with clients and building trust-based relationships Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple engagements Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
