Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse MS/Tele Float

12-hour night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, with every other weekend required. Must be able to work holidays.

Contracts available for 36 and 48 hours per week, with longer contracts accepted through 2027. Maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed per contract.

Requirements

• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred.
• 2 years of nursing experience required, including MS/Tele and ED holding experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Must be able to handle fast-paced workloads and 1:6-7 patient ratios.
• Proficient in Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for medication documentation and communication.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients located within the Emergency Department waiting for an inpatient bed.
• Manage a variety of medical/surgical adult diagnoses and may care for PCU level patients.
• Expected to float to Emergency Department and MedSurg areas as needed.
• Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team efforts as required during emergencies.
