Postpartum Nurse (Postpartum RN)

Postpartum RnPostpartum RN's work in the unit of a hospital is the area where babies and new moms recover after birth. Although the length of stay can vary depending on the type of delivery and complications, most women with uncomplicated deliveries go home within a few days.Education/Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year EducationAssociates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year EducationYou must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.RN's can only work with an active state license.Submission Requirements:2+ years post partum experience - RequiredExperience in providing comprehensive care to new mothers and their newborns after delivery - RequiredExperience in providing education on breast feeding, infant care, and maternal care - RequiredBLS (AHA or ARC) - RequiredProfile Requirements:Resume - RequiredSkills checklist - RequiredLicensure - RequiredCertifications - RequiredClinicians MUST list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume
