Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in delivering effective therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake assessments and creating tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating counseling sessions for couples and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve communication and resolve conflicts.

• Addressing a wide range of issues such as grief and loss, separation and divorce, and family conflict, while providing a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Monitoring progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to provide integrated care approaches, particularly for clients dealing with complex family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families dealing with various challenges including, but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
\n
• Emotional and psychological trauma, including physical abuse
\n
• Adjustment issues stemming from divorce or separation
\n
• Conflict resolution among family members, including parent-child dynamics

• Emotional challenges related to medical issues and job stress

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• Hold a valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
\n
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrate empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.

• Possess superior organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective handling of multiple clients and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and presenting issues. Additional skills in teletherapy, group therapy, and case management will be advantageous in this role.
