Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) for a healthcare facility in an unspecified location. This position involves providing patient care across various units within the facility, with responsibilities including managing patients' needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires flexibility to float between units and is scheduled for night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Will position float between units across a short-term acute care facility with 379 beds, including trauma level II designation.
• Certifications & Education Requirements: ACLS, BLS certifications required. Valid state license with a compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of relevant experience as an MS RN required.
• Specialized Skills: Managing ports, bariatric surgery, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, chest tubes, colostomy/ileostomy management, continuous bladder irrigation, CVA care, feeding tube management, high flow nasal cannula, isolation precautions, Med/Surg, mood disorders, Nasal Cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pre/post hemodialysis and neurosurgery, starting and maintaining IVs, substance withdrawal, surgical drains, tracheostomy care, traumatic brain injury, use of rapid response and code teams, wound care/vac, palliative care.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week; shifts occurring during a 6-week period with a total of 6 weekend shifts.
• Additional Information: Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an interview arranged by the designated account manager. Candidates are expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays and must request all scheduling and time-off needs upfront during submission.
