Job Opportunity – Level III/IV NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 13-week assignment (longer contracts available upon request); self-scheduling with flexible shifts; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period; no on-call required; 48-hour workweeks approved; 1:2-4 nurse-to-patient ratios

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required; Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Patient ratio experience of 1:2-4
• Proficiency in neonatal care skills including ventilator management, high-frequency ventilation, administration of blood products, central line management, UAC/UVC, arterial line management, phototherapy, and developmental care
• Experience with Level III/IV patient populations including neonates under 29 weeks gestational age
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
