Paralegal

Overview The Advocates are a rapidly growing personal injury law firm with branches across the United States. The Spokane branch is looking for a driven litigation paralegal to join a close‑knit team of attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals and staff who are dedicated to supporting clients throughout their recovery journeys. Key Responsibilities Draft various pleadings, including complaints and motions, and file them with western Washington courts Perform administrative duties such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and contacting witnesses, experts and physicians Manage caseloads and calendars for multiple attorneys, ensuring all local and county specific deadlines are calendared and followed Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and arbitration evidence binders Coordinate and interview clients for discovery requests such as interrogatories and requests for admission Coordinate and interview factual and damages witnesses Gather relevant information from a variety of sources (court rules, Westlaw, etc.) Serve as point of contact for clients, providing consistent and professional communication for case updates, case management, and depositions Experience and Professional Background 1–3 years of civil litigation experience as a paralegal (preferred) 1+ years of personal injury experience (required) Proven attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards Experience with meticulous record keeping Strong deductive thinking, ability to extrapolate information and shift cognitively between general and concrete details Compensation and Benefits $28.00 – $35.00 per hour Health, Dental, and Vision care up to 100% employer paid (Buy‑up options available) Employee Assistance Program 3 Weeks PTO in first year; uncapped PTO starting year 3 401(k) matching up to 4% after 1 year 50% paid transit card Equal Employment Opportunity As set forth in The Advocates – PNW’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
