Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Aya Healthcare Pay: $1,031 to $1,261 per week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: July 13, 2026 Shift: Evenings – 5 days × 8 hours (14:00 – 22:30) Responsibilities Perform sterilization and processing of surgical instruments in accordance with AAHCSMM/HSPA standards. Manage aseptic technique, biological indicators, chemical agents and washers/sterilizers. Document equipment usage, perform sterilizer load assembly, labeling, and testing/monitoring. Prepare and disassemble instrument trays and sets for ambulatory surgery centers. Maintain proper labeling, wrapping materials selection, and sterilization wrapping procedures. Follow protocols for immediate‑use steam sterilization (IUSS) and other orthopedics procedures. Qualifications IAHCSMM/HSPA certification. At least one year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician. Knowledge of aseptic technique, biological and chemical indicators, and steam sterilization testing. Proficiency with ultrasonic cleaners, washer‑sterilizers, and sterilization microsystems. Strong attention to mandatory labeling, packaging, and instrument tracking.
