Wolfgang Confectioners currently has an opening for a Sanitation Team Member at our Loganville Facility .

The sanitation team member will be a part of a cleaning crew whose duties are to perform a variety of cleaning/sanitation functions on equipment and the facility environment, to meet food safety and quality standards. The sanitation position has a basic understanding of the equipment and the equipment's function along with chemical application awareness and can perform basic equipment breakdowns. Must be able to work effectively in a team-based environment, set priorities to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and make decisions under pressure. Works under direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Lead Person as appropriate. Work is routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment, adequacy and accuracy. Scope of job duties are complex and quality of work contributes to department production and to the success of the company.

Requirements

• Operate wash machines, low/ high pressure hoses, and chemicals.
• Manually clean equipment
• Understand and follow Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as they refer to proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment required to clean.
• Follow a master sanitation schedule
• Understand and follow chemical usage and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Maintains cleanliness of work area
• Performs and records daily checklists accurately.
• Work individually or in a teamwork environment
• Maintains clear, open, and positive communication with the Supervisor and/or Lead Person.
• Follows Company established Sanitation/Quality Assurance/HACCP and GMP procedures to assure product quality.
• Complies with company and OSHA safety policies.
• Offers suggestions to management on improving efficiency, safety, and working conditions.
• Will maintain flexibility to perform any other duties asked of them, (Example) Production worker in various rolls.
