What You ll Do

• Manage trauma hospitalist rounding for adult and adolescent patients
• Respond promptly to trauma alerts from the ED
• Conduct daily patient assessments and rounding
• Facilitate patient discharges and admissions from ED
• Assist with procedural work such as chest tube insertions, central lines, arterial lines, and suturing minor lacerations
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary team members
• Support trauma activations and trauma patient care as needed

What You Need

• Valid Minnesota NP/PA license or eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of trauma, emergency, or critical care experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
• Ability to work independently with supervision from trauma surgeons

About the Assignment
This role involves serving as a trauma hospitalist at a reputable Level I trauma center. You will work under the supervision of trauma surgeons, providing critical care support to a diverse patient demographic aged 0-100+. The facility emphasizes autonomous practice within a collaborative team environment, ensuring high-quality trauma care in a fast-paced setting.
