Salary: $50,000-$85,000 DOE
Travel: Approximately 95% - extensive overnight travel required

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment at customer locations throughout the Midwest and across North America.

This is a highly travel-driven, customer-facing position. The technician will work from a home office and serve as a technical representative in the field, providing equipment installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and customer training.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills , industrial field service experience, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service at customer facilities
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
• Provide operator and maintenance training to customers
• Complete accurate service reports and technical documentation
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Service teams to resolve customer issues
• Maintain strong, professional customer relationships
• Follow company safety, service, and travel procedures
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of industrial Field Service Technician experience
• Technical school, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working directly with industrial equipment at customer locations
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 95% , including frequent overnight travel
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain/maintain a valid passport for travel
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be based in the Midwest

• Machine tool experience
• Fabrication equipment experience
• Industrial machinery or OEM equipment experience
• Experience providing customer/operator training
• 3D CAD familiarity
• Spanish, French, or German language skills
