Our busy dental practice is growing, and we need a caring and competent dental assistant to support our team! The ideal applicant will deliver high-quality dental services and patient care that leaves clients feeling like family. The ideal candidate has one year of experience in dental assisting and possesses fantastic communication skills. $24 - $26 hourly

• Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
• Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
• Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
• Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures

• Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed
• Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required

• Experience in dental assisting for at least six months to one year

• Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor while assisting during dental procedures, putting patients at ease

• Proven track record of adhering to infection control policies and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all

• Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing patient records, ensuring seamless office operations
