Physical Therapy Technician

Physical Therapy Technician Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred. Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred. Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program. Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
