Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Technologist!

Job Description:


- Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (Allied) / OR Certified Surgical Tech
- Location: 100-mile radius rule applies
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts; 7a-3:30p with weekends, call, and holidays required
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Certification: Must be certified, with prior travel experience
- Experience Required:
- Must have orthopedic experience
- Must have scrubbing experience
- Must have Da Vinci experience
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of surgical patients under RN supervision
- Perform routine and delegated duties according to hospital standards and policies
- Maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Support surgeons during procedures with precise and efficient reactions
- Additional Duties:
- May be asked to precept new staff
- Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection protocols for clinical operating room settings
- Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program or current New York State LPN license eligible
- BLS certification required
- Ability to arrive within 1/2 hour of being called in
