Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Job Title

2nd Shift (3p-11:30p), Monday through Friday and occasional scheduled Holidays

We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include:

• Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes)
• Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
• Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
• HLD/Scope experience
• Sterile Storage
• OR Liaison experience
• Censitrac Tracking system experience

CRCST or CSPDT required EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: CORE TECH, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR LIAISON

OSU is a Level One trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires experienced Travelers who have worked in a facility similar to OSU. If you have candidates that fit this description, please send us the profiles to review. Floating may be required between OSU locations.

Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com):

• The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits.
• The WMC permit is available monthly.
• WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage — #/month or # per 100 days.
• WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service — #/year.
• CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 — #/year.
• WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.
• Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3–5 weeks.
