Manufacturing - Carpenter Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Read production drawings; perform QC checks to ensure proper mold setup / dimensions are correct Cut and fit core materials (wood / foam) to specifications Safely operate all tools and machinery Maintains tools, equipment and work area Solid experience with use of basic hand and power tools Able to read tape measure and perform basic math and fraction conversions Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Able to pass a forklift drivers test and safely operate a forklift Must be able to arrive on time and work a full shift with minimal absenteeism Other duties as assigned Benefits 2 weeks of vacation 1st through 4th year; 3 weeks of vacation after 4th year Closed between Christmas and New Years with pay 3 Personal days per year Bereavement leave available Company paid health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability; Additional policies available Retirement plan with significant company contributions Company pays 50% of employee uniforms Annual bonus plan and a sign-on bonus of $1,500 after 90 days Background check and drug screen is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Shelter Works
