Program Director, Behavioral Health Technician

You will make an impact by:

• Providing strategic, academic, and administrative leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating and continuous improvement of the program in support of College and/or departmental goals to ensure compliance with accreditation and/or licensure requirements. Participating in curriculum development and coordination, determines teaching assignments using a asynchronous instructional approach combining online instruction with face-to-face instruction (as applicable), selection of faculty, and selection/coordination of program specific external facilities and instruction.
• Providing professional leadership and support for teaching faculty and enables an environment which fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility.

Your experience includes:

• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-certification professional experience in behavioral health, including direct experience in ABA therapy or substance use disorder treatment.
• Teaching Experience: Minimum of 3 years of higher education teaching experience (associate or bachelor degree level) in behavioral health, psychology, or addiction studies.
• Administrative Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an academic leadership or management role (Program Director, Department Chair, Lead Faculty, or Clinical Coordinator).
• Regulatory Expertise: Thorough knowledge of ABHES accreditation standards, BACB RBT standards, and CCAPP educational provider requirements.

Education/Licensure:

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution.
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB.

Preferred Education, Certifications and Licensures:

• Preferred Education: Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Human Services.
• Preferred Certification: Active CADC II, LAADC, or state-equivalent addiction counselor license/certification, or experience overseeing CADC-certified faculty.
