Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating a variety of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians
• Instructing patients and families on health promotion, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatment protocols within your scope of practice
• Participating in ongoing patient monitoring and chronic condition management
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Training

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
