Drafter

EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee-Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an immediate full-time opening for a 3D Drafter. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team! Specific Responsibilities Develops models and detailed design drawings according to written and verbal specifications Consults with Engineers and Project Coordinators to resolve design problems Ensures that dimensions of equipment are accurately reflected in all designs Create a Bill of Materials based on 3D models Qualifications Associate’s degree or certification in Computer Drafting and Design Technology (or a related field) required 2+ years of professional highly proficient 3D modeling experience required, such as Solid Edge or equivalent software. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines Must be able to balance working in a collaborative work environment with independently completing work tasks/projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plus A working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plus Equal Opportunity Employer Normal Business hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
