Responsibilities
- Conduct preoperative assessment and patient preparation for outpatient procedures, ensuring informed consent and readiness.
- Support anesthesia providers during induction, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards in the perioperative setting.
- Manage circulating duties, medication administration for moderate sedation as appropriate, and intraoperative documentation.
- Facilitate rapid patient turnover with efficient intraoperative-to-PACU Phase II handoffs; monitor patients in PACU Phase II and ensure stable recovery.
- Assist with endoscopy cases, equipment setup, and non-operating room procedures as required.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team to optimize patient safety, flow, and timely case completion.

Requirements
- California RN license (active, in good standing)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Endoscopy experience required; outpatient perioperative experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant perioperative/outpatient surgery experience
- Comfortable with preoperative and PACU Phase II workflows
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgery/endoscopy environment
- Availability for 4x10-hour daytime shifts (start times between 5:30am and 11:00am, varies by case volume)
- This is a travel assignment; ability to travel and adapt to varied schedules
