This position is for an OR-focused RN providing perioperative preoperative care in a hospital setting, with supervision of nursing staff and coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for PreOp patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Prepare patients for anesthesia and surgical procedures, including monitoring vitals and medications per orders.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with anesthesia, surgeons, and other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Document care actions, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and support safe perioperative workflows.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital perioperative (PreOp) setting with a patient population undergoing surgery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in applying nursing standards of care and the perioperative nursing process.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 8-hour shift pattern and adapt to varying patient needs.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
