RN Weekend Supervisor

Fowler Care Center - Exciting opportunity for a motivated RN to work in a family owned and operated memory care facility in the rural town of Fowler California, as a weekend supervisor. This building is home to a diverse group of long term residents, cared for by seasoned staff with low staffing ratios, who are stewarded by a well versed DON and Adminstrator with years of expereince in the geriatric field. The ideal canidate would possess the capacity to lead nurses and cnas, communicate well with familes and community partners, extend excellent customer service to whomever crosses your path, and ensure the best clinical and operation outcomes are occuring. An offer of $40 to $48 per hour based on experience is extended, for a Saturday and Sunday 8 hour shift, hours for shift assignment are 8-4 pm. The postion calls for a Registered Nurse, with an unencumbered license in the State of California. We can offer you challenges to professionally grow and the resources to succeed. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Supervisor include but are not limited to: Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment. Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team Records the administration of medication Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies Performs other duties as directed Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include: An active RN license Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community The desire to care for residents and act with integrity The ability to work flexible hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
