Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled MedSurg RN to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves managing adult medical-surgical patients during night shifts, ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously to identify deviations from expected recovery trajectories.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and rapid response situations.
• Maintain compliance with all certification and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg or Telemetry nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system and telemetry care.
• Ability to work 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
