Job Description Position: Concierge Security Officer Location: Downtown Austin, Texas Shift: Overnight Reports To: Site Supervisor / Account Manager Concierge Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional, highly visible, and customer-service-oriented security presence at a Downtown Austin property. The officer will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, employees, vendors, and visitors while protecting the client's property and assets. Key Duties Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and designated security areas. Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols. Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, disturbances, and safety concerns. Greet and assist residents, guests, employees, and visitors professionally. Verify visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries as required. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Monitor cameras and access-control systems when assigned. Complete daily activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports. Communicate security concerns promptly to supervisors and client representatives. Follow all company policies, client directives, and site post orders. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance. Remain awake, alert, attentive, and professional throughout the entire shift. Qualifications Security or customer-service experience preferred. Strong communication and observation skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to remain professional during difficult situations. Must meet applicable Texas security licensing requirements.
