1st Shift Sprayer, Paint, Stain and Finish Associate (4x10 schedule) Sauder Manufacturing Co, 201 Horton Street, Stryker, Ohio, United States of America Position Summary The Finish Room Associate I will have various tasks and responsibilities in the finishing department including: Manually apply finish and stain Prep and inspect parts Hang and remove parts from the line Quality inspection Sanding wood parts Position Requirements Lift overhead up to 50 lbs. Regular lifting, maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs. Must be detail-oriented Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal Able to use hand held power tools with accuracy and precision Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Experience and Knowledge Required High school diploma or GED preferred Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred Ability to wear and use respirator Key Attributes Required A self-starting, goal-oriented, customer-focused individual who takes personal accountability and acts in accordance with the Company’s Values Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
