Senior Tax Analyst

Tax Senior
• Prepare quarterly and annual income, franchise tax returns for federal, state and local, and international tax purposes to ensure timely tax compliance. Responsible for tax payments and refunds. • Prepare on-book tax provision in accordance with ASC 740. Prepare accounting entries related to the tax accrual, payments and refunds. • Improve and streamline income tax compliance process. • Assist in tax audits and gather compliance information for audit purposes. • Implement special tax compliance projects to achieve tax efficiency. • Respond to notices from taxing authorities. • Research the law for any issues with regard to income and franchise taxes and other filings.
• BS in Accounting or related area • Master in business taxation • CPA license required • 5+ years of public accounting ("Big 4" tax department experience preferred • Strong income tax provision and compliance experience • Working knowledge of CorpTax provision and compliance software • Strong tax research skills
