Garage Door Installer
Carter Lumber Company
A Holmes Lumber (a division of Carter Lumber) Garage Door Installer will assist in installing new overhead doors & operators, removing overhead doors & operators for replacement, and assist in installing rolling doors and dock equipment. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position. Requirements Construction experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn Ability to work effectively under time constraints. Ability to follow directions both written and verbal Ability to problem solve Responsibilities Installation Replaces or installs garage doors using the appropriate tools. Analyzes jobsite, assists in running wires, assembling openers, cutting angles, and installing seals. Supports a safe work environment. Customer Service Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship. Knowledge & Training Responsible for acquiring the training needed to install garage doors safely and efficiently. Responsible for becoming certified in the product/area that is being installed to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.
