Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Description

This position involves caring for patients in the Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine units. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and administering treatments as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for patients with cancer, hematological disorders, and other related conditions.
• Administer medications and chemotherapy as prescribed.
• Utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Float to various departments as needed within the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in Med-Surg/Oncology nursing.
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Chemo certification required.
• Active NY RN License and verification via NURSYS report.
• Documentation of travel experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
