Forward Deployed Strategist

San Francisco or New York | In person | $150,000–$225,000 base + equity We are partnering with a rapidly scaling, venture-backed enterprise AI company that is redefining how the world’s largest organisations automate complex operational work. The business has exceptional momentum, meaningful enterprise traction and a high-calibre founding team. Its technology combines the flexibility of AI with the reliability and control required to deploy automation in high-stakes, real-world environments. They are now seeking an outstanding Forward Deployed Strategist to own strategic customer engagements and turn ambitious pilots into large-scale, lasting deployments. This is not traditional consulting, customer success or account management. You will work at the heart of the customer’s most complex challenges: understanding how operations truly work, aligning stakeholders from front-line teams to the C-suite, translating ambiguity into an executable plan, and ensuring solutions land, scale and create measurable value. What you’ll do Own enterprise deployments from discovery and pilot through to scaled production rollout Build alignment across complex customer organisations, from day-to-day operators to senior executives Conduct deep process discovery, turning complex workflows into clear, actionable deployment plans Drive change management, anticipate blockers and keep critical milestones on track Partner closely with Product and Engineering, translating field insight into repeatable product and deployment patterns Build trusted, long‑term customer relationships and identify new automation opportunities Help define the forward‑deployed playbook as the company scales globally What we’re looking for 5+ years in a strategic, technical, customer-facing role: deployment strategy, solutions, implementation, account management, management consulting or similar A proven record of navigating complex enterprise customers and delivering high‑impact work end to end Technical fluency and the ability to engage credibly on products, integrations and implementation Strong judgement, communication and programme‑management skills The ability to build trust rapidly with everyone from operational users to C‑suite leaders A high‑agency, low‑ego operator who thrives in ambiguity and takes full ownership of outcomes Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare or another complex enterprise sector would be valuable This is a high‑intensity, in‑person opportunity for someone who wants to sit at the intersection of strategy, technology and enterprise transformation — and help shape a category-defining company’s customer deployment model. #J-18808-Ljbffr
