Employment type “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role) Anticipated average of 8–20 patient‑care hours per week (actual hours vary by office needs) Location Seeing patients across multiple offices in Bethesda, MD (including Maryland, Virginia, and DC) Weekly schedule will include hours at several clinics in Bethesda, MD Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed What you’ll be working on Seeing patients with a broad array of needs; conducting acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel‑building role) Treating patients in‑office and occasionally conducting tele‑health visits Collaborating with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams Utilizing your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in‑office procedures Education, licenses, and experience required for this role At least two years of primary care experience Currently licensed or able to obtain licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and/or Washington, DC Proven ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both one‑on‑one and in groups Can thrive in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics One Medical providers also demonstrate A passion for human‑centered primary care Ability to communicate and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high‑quality care Clinical proficiency in evidence‑based primary care Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing health‑care delivery Openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses Confidence navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs Malpractice insurance fully covered by One Medical (100 %) UpToDate subscription to an evidence‑based clinical research tool One Medical issued laptop for secure EHR access Sick time/PTO eligibility in accordance with local requirements Additional benefits available to casual/per diem providers Malpractice insurance fully covered (100 %) UpToDate subscription One Medical issued laptop Sick time/PTO eligibility Compensation One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role is $135.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient‑care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed the specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package may also include benefits.
