ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL'S SECRETARY-to fill a vacancy and create an eligibility list

Job Title

This job post is for a position at Serrano High School. All applicants, including current Snowline employees, must submit their application through edjoin.org. Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: education equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade, supplemented by additional coursework in related business subjects. Experience: two years paid, full-time, responsible secretarial employment, including operation of standard office equipment; school experience desirable. Knowledge of modern office methods, filing methods, adding machine, typewriter, duplicating machine, good receptionist and telephone technique; good English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation; proof reading; letter and report writing; data processing entries, particularly special education data. Ability to understand and interpret oral and written directions; comprehend policies which govern routine school activities; perform routine record keeping functions. Skills: typing 50 WPM (adjusted for errors), passing score on the written test. Word processing skills.

Required Documents

Application must include current updated resume, 2 letters of recommendation/reference (physically signed AND dated within the last 36 months) and a letter of intent. Letters of recommendation written by family members will not be accepted.
