As a Dietary Cook at our Greenfield, Ohio location, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional care and comfort to our residents.

About the Role

As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious and delicious meals to our residents, while maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. This is a full-time position, with regular working hours from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a culinary setting and a passion for cooking and food preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to infection control and safety standards

  • Assist with menu planning and specials preparation

  • Stock and receive inventory, including ordering and rotating food items

  • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and tools

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service and resident satisfaction

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in a culinary setting, preferably in a healthcare environment

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

  • Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
