Dietary Cook Location: Medina, Ohio About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team at Medina Center for Rehabilitation! As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food services for our residents. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work closely with our dietary team to provide delicious and nutritious meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary needs and restrictions Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards Assist with food inventory management and ordering supplies Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and implement special meals and events Participate in menu planning and food presentation to enhance the dining experience Maintain accurate records and reports of food preparation, inventory, and waste management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA and JCAHO standards Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the dietary team and other departments Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols, with a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene What We Offer: Hourly pay rate: $15.00 Benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer paid life insurance 401k retirement plan PHMP program #J-18808-Ljbffr
