• Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and medical documentation. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure proper infection control measures are followed in accordance with aseptic techniques.
• Provide patient education on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
• Requirements
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license and board certification and malpractice insurance.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; familiarity with child-specific dental practices is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
• Ability to perform  root canal therapy and other complex procedures as required.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education.
• Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
