Responsibilities

- Load raw materials into rubber press equipment, ensuring precise weight and distribution for uniform product quality.
- Operate and monitor press machines, maintaining optimal lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process concerns to supervisors or technicians.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation, promptly disposing of scrap and waste.
- Clean equipment and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure high product quality.
- Accurately complete all production, quality, and process documentation.
- Trim excess material, inspect products for defects, and perform corrective actions.
- Process and cool manufactured pads according to established procedures.
- Stack and store finished products safely and efficiently.
- Consistently follow all safety guidelines, environmental policies, and Quality System Regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in operating industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled (hot) environment.
- Capable of working night shifts (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM) on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule.
- Steel toe or composite shoes required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with rubber press operations.
- Familiarity with quality control and documentation procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
